As a geographer and landscape artist I am currently investigating the rivers and wetlands of NSW. This self-directed project has taken me to explore the Lachlan/Galari, Macquarie, Murray Rivers and associated wetlands. I am in the process of developing a body of work that reflect these unique waterways in NSW. 2022 has been unique as we have experienced catastrophic floods, but consequently inland lagoons, billabongs and wetlands are at capacity. The theme of water and water management is central to this body of work acting as a springboard to think about environmental sustainability. Ultimately, it will be a sharing of some of these River stories and sharing a sense of place.
