Ironbark Residency November 2021

Many thanks to Orana Arts and to the generous and welcoming Stuart Town Progress Association for creating this venture and inaugural residency. A funded printmaking residency with master printmaker Tim Winters in his Stuart Town studio. A wonderful opportunity to immerse myself in the history of this little town, explore new ways of art making and looking at the landscape. Long afternoons and early mornings spent with fellow artist Linda Chant on the old Railway Hotel veranda with views of the Ironbarks, the Koel bird calls and the sound of the freight train running through the town. What a privilege to be inside Tim’s Kinkara studio and have him guide us gently through the print making process. Many thanks to Lynn and Tim for opening their home and garden to talk all things art and life.
